After an incredible season, Erwan Bastard became double champion of the Silver Cup GT4 in the French (FFSA-GT4) and European (GT4 European Series) championships alongside Roee Mehuyas, Israeli-American driver.
At the end of 2022, he progressed to the upper category in GT3 and carried out his first tests at Les Castellet with the Audi R8 LMS GT3 of the Sainteloc Racing team.
From December 9 to 11, 2022, he will take part in the 12 Hours of the Gulf in Abu Dhabi at the wheel of the Audi #25 Sainteloc in the Pro category. He shares the car with two renowned Audi factory drivers, German Christopher Haase and Swiss Patric Niederhauser.
This event, which also hosts the final of the GT Intercontinental World Challenge, is a high-level competition where teams from all over the world and with solid experience in GT3 will compete. Six global supercar brands, with drivers from 25 different nations will battle it out for honours, with Formula 1 driver Kevin Magnussen taking part.
Together they won 3rd place on the podium in all categories out of 34 cars.

*** Erwan Bastard was all smiles after scoring a podium finish on his GT3 debut with Audi Sport Team Sainteloc. “Incredible I would say,” Bastard told Sportscar365. The GT4 European Series champion admitted the start of the weekend was "a bit difficult" but he picked up speed with the help of his works co-drivers Patric Niederhauser and Christopher Haase.
***Bastard said: "I was able to learn a lot from these [factory] guys. They did an amazing job all weekend. On the track or in the box, talking to them was really helpful. For next season it will be really useful. I'm so happy to have had the opportunity to race with them. It's pretty good statistics for a first race!
***Sainteloc sporting director Frédéric Thalamy was full of praise for Bastard, acknowledging that the 24-year-old's confidence had increased during the event.
